Supportive Living Program (SLP)
Program Description
Homelessness is often the result of many contributing factors. Operating grants provided to eligible non-profit agencies by the Supportive Living Program are intended to prevent and end homelessness through a “Housing First” approach whereby individuals are housed, with minimal conditions, and provided individualized supports to foster long-term housing stability.
The Supportive Living Program is an interdepartmental initiative and supports the goals of:

- Support community capacity building, as well as research that will increase community capacity to prevent and address homelessness.
